Ans: When the astrologer
heard that the groom’s family had decided the wedding date without paying him a
fee to consult the position of stars and planets, he was very angry.

Ans: Feeling insulted the
bride’s father announced thant he would find an honourable, hard- working man
from the village itself and marry his daughter to him.

Ans: The bride’s father was
justified in marrying his daughter to another man because for the groom’s
family the stars and planets was more important than the bride who was waiting
for the groom for the marriage.

of the village explain to the groom?
Ans: The good fortune is not
in stars and plane, it is in our work. Stars cannot harm us but our blind faith
in them and the fear about the misfortune they could bring actually lead to the
harm.

that the family would not come. They felt extremely insulted and decided not to
